Compact and lightweight for large areas

The Stihl BG86 petrol leaf blower is a powerful and reliable tool for removing leaves and dirt quickly and effectively. Thanks to the powerful petrol engine, the leaf blower is particularly flexible to use and independent of power sources. The leaf blower is ergonomically designed and offers a high level of operating comfort. With the Stihl BG86 petrol leaf blower, gardening becomes child's play. For cleaning large areas of leaves and grass, also suitable for use in very dusty environments thanks to the HD2 filter.

2-MIX engine
The STIHL 2-MIX engine is both powerful and economical. The separation of exhaust gas and fresh gas minimises scavenging losses, thus increasing power and reducing consumption at the same time.

Antivibration system
The STIHL anti-vibration system reduces vibrations to a minimum and thus ensures a high level of working comfort even during longer operations.

One-handed operation with soft grip zone
Ergonomically shaped handle with soft grip zone. Operation is easy and comfortable as the hand remains on the handle. The throttle lever can be locked between idle and full throttle in any desired position. This makes work easier, especially when working for longer periods of time.

Manual fuel pump
With the manual fuel pump, fuel can be pumped into the carburettor at the touch of a thumb. This reduces the number of starting pulls after a longer break in operation of the machine. All power tools for green maintenance and all blowers are equipped with a manual fuel pump.

Elasto Start
As a result of the compression pressure, jerky forces occur when starting two-stroke engines, which strain muscles and joints. ElastoStart noticeably reduces this. A special damping element in the starting handle expands according to the tractive force, resulting in a smooth starting process without jerky force peaks.

Lockable throttle lever with stop button
The throttle lever can be locked in any position between idle and full throttle. A short press of the thumb on the stop button switches the unit off. The unit is then automatically ready for operation again.
